Rooted is for people in every life stage, wherever you are in your walk with Christ.
Rooted provides the opportunity to connect with God and a small group of people.
The weekly study will cover foundational elements of your faith: Scripture, prayer, worship, generosity and service.
Rooted is an interactive environment. You’ll circle up with your group for about an hour once a week for 10 weeks. You’ll talk about what God has been revealing to you as you go through the week’s reading, journal entries, and prayer. You’ll also learn from one another, and ask God’s Spirit to comfort, encourage, and guide each person. Your group will share two experiences together outside of your group time: Prayer and serving. After the last session, you’ll join together with all the other groups and celebrate how God is working to connect each of you with your passion, your purpose, and your community.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ROOTED AND RIVERTREE GROUPS?
Rooted groups are an on-ramp to RiverTree Groups. Through the course of the Rooted experience you will get to know the other people in your group as you share important aspects of your life and journey together over 10 weeks. Rooted groups that can commit to 10 weeks together, are perfectly positioned to start a new RiverTree Group, and we highly recommend that you try Rooted before joining an existing RiverTree Group.
CAN MY EXISTING RIVERTREE GROUP PARTICIPATE IN ROOTED TOGETHER?
Absolutely! The most effective group size is 15 people, so if your group is smaller or larger we may ask you to include others, or to form multiple groups in order to provide the best-possible experience.
WHAT DOES REGISTRATION
LOOK LIKE?
We aim to keep registration easy. Once registration is opened for an upcoming session of Rooted, simply follow the online link and the corresponding steps. The cost for Rooted is $25 per person. This registration fee includes all the sessions, your workbook, related materials, and the celebration dinner at the end of the 10 weeks.
WHEN DO I GET MY ROOTED MATERIALS (WORKBOOK)?
You will receive your Rooted workbook and other materials when your group meets together for the first time. Your leader will also walk you through how to use it.
HOW WILL ROOTED
GROUPS BE CHOSEN?
Our Rooted team will carefully and prayerfully place participants into groups of 10-15 people which includes the group leader. Primary factors consist of age, marital status, and life stage.
Also, should you have request to be placed with a friend or in a certain leader’s group there is a space for that with registration. However, we cannot guarantee that we will always be able to accommodate such requests.

WHAT ABOUT
SCHOLARSHIPS?
We firmly believe in the Rooted experience and the life change that occurs in individuals and whole groups and have worked hard to make it as affordable as possible from the start. With that said, we understand that the registration fee may be a burden and have made scholarships available to help.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
If you are in need of financial assistance to jump in to the Rooted experience, please contact our Director of Connections, Danielle Harper, with a brief description of why you are requesting assistance. Our team will follow up with you on how to proceed forward and complete the registration process.
