THE MISSION
Our RiverTree family has experienced life-changing moments through our long-standing partnership in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania.
Once a thriving steel town of 30,000, Aliquippa faced deep challenges after the mill closed in the 1980s, leaving widespread poverty and a population of about 9,000 today. Over 90% of students now rely on subsidized lunches.
We partner with local missionary Scott Branderhorst, who focuses on building trust and deep community relationships. These mission trips bring hope and renewal to Aliquippa—but they also profoundly transform our own hearts as we witness God’s faithfulness through bold steps of faith.
